Yeah that's what I was thinking too, get the glass ones and modify them. That's the route I would go. Not sure how that front suspension is set up but most of the guys with low '69's are getting away with fender clearance partly because they are taking advanatge of negative camber. The fender style line is iconic so I'm guessing you don't want to lose that but it's also a pain when you want the car low with fat tires. The '67 & 8's are just more fitting for flared out fenders with those big round openings. It's all a compromise I guess. Most of the guys I've seen that have their cars down in the dirt have to run pretty small front tires.
