Default 1965 Chevelle TR6060 transmission

Hello, I need some help here. I have a TR6060 trans out of a 2015 camaro that I thought I can install in my Chevelle. I know the TR6060 and the T56 are the same transmission but has anybody actually installed a TR6060, not the T56? From what I understand the shifter is set way back, also there's no slip yolk for the drive shaft as well as a bunch of other issues. Has anybody actually overcome this and put in a TR6060? How did you do it? I'm confused why on ebay everybody is selling TR6060s if they are so hard to install in the older model cars. Thanks.
