Just wanted to say thanks to Jason and Ben for the great work they provided once again... Both concepts are strong, and offer a lot of great ideas for the project!

As Ben pointed out, the three of us wanted to present ideas that were "all over the board", yet keep the same general concept in mind, so as to offer a number of ideas that could be applied between any of the designs, and I think we've accomplished that.

Ben's offering has a really clean look, and gives some serious subtlety as icing on the cake. The car has a true "coachbuilt" feel, and oozes quality throughout. The cool, soft color is a great choice for the Cutlass' lines, and that stripe plays up the sporty nature of the build. The unique exhaust exits are so slick, and with them up as high as they are, they almost make the rear of the car appear streamlined, and attract attention to the huge meats... Well done!

Jason's design pays homage to the legacy of Olds muscle, and his use of the classic black and gold paint scheme was a great idea! The color-keyed wheels and that oh-so-right stance balance the car somewhere between corner-carving and light-to-light street terror. The W-30 hood always looks great, and, in my opinion, really does wonders for the car.

On my design, I opted to keep things fairly simple, aiming to make the most bang for as little cash, visually (saving money for the drivetrain and suspension). Having a thing for green cars (and green Olds' in particular), I went with the two-tone green sage paint, broken up with a simple graphic that invokes the '70-'72 muscle car era graphics (Judge, et.al.), deliberately keeping it simple enough to be painted at home. The stock hood has always been a favorite of mine with those inserts, so I left well enough alone, and took some time to remove the front markers (integrating them into the headlamps with a street rod industry product combo lamp), and utilizing the opening left behind as a brake cooling duct, to squeeze as much braking performance as possible.

I wish, as well, that John would've had time on this one... and working with two guys as talented and friendly as Ben and Jason made for a great experience. Thanks again Scott and Jeff, can't wait to see this thing come together!
