Default Low-Profile body mounts?

Does anyone make body mounts in either delrin or poly that are shorter, to lower my '69 Chevelle's body over the frame about 1/2"? I don't want solid, and I want it firmer than rubber.

Will it work? or will there be clearance issues with the floors somewhere?

With my LT1, I'll have way more hood clearance than I need, and i'm not afraid to hammer on my trans-tunnel. Valve-cover to Power-booster clearance should be OK, and I think I can adjust the front bumper brackets enough to line it up good. Anything I'm not thinking of?

Not sure with the Chevelle, but I know on a 1st Gen, the tranny will hit the tunnel for sure.

Why don't you want to go solid?

Have you driven I-90 lately?

I'm a little worried about NVH. I've never ridden in a car with solid. I'm going to have all solid spherical bearings in the rear, and delrin lower/ solid upper bushings in front... yet I want it to be a daily driveable.

Body bushings won't be an issue with everything else near solid.

You may have issues with the header collector hitting the floors.....
