They're made of 316 steel, and 12mm thick, after we have tig-welded the manifolds we will put them in the grinder, and get a straight surface for the gaskets.
When I had welded my headers to the flange (GM LS1 Flange pretty much the same as yours) it was still straight and I didn't need any grinding on them. If you're careful you might get it straight as it is.


Gonna be a cool car and I hope to see it next summer.

Todays update : I picked up the turbos the other day. Here are som pictures. Last thursday I shipped the frame to the chassibuilder who will do the neccessary work on it, I hope it will be ready in a few weeks.

I'm travelling to California and Las Vegas in about two weeks, and will be in California and Las Vegas for 2,5 weeks. So I wount be needing the frame before I get home... :-)

Very nice project! Street friendly??? With a 620HP Big Block AND twin turbos, street friendly may go out of the window when you lean on the throttle. That car is going to scare the "you know what" out of someone! WE WANT VIDEOS OF THAT BEAST ASAP...not on the dyno, on the street or at the track!!!!!!
