I'm curious to see more of the frame rails and how it was done. I can see already that there's differences between that one and my Wayne Due that are basically built around the same idea.
Lisa looks VERY happy...the last time I saw her that happy was when the Air Ride stuff showed up...it's going to be a great year for her!! Can't wait to see it at SEMA!!
WE have tried to accomidate as many different options as possible and still make it work.
it uses all original pick up locations so it will work with after market tubular control arms designed for firdst gen camaros. we have testes the fitment with brand GW and all looks good some minor issues with the GW brand coil over lower arm as it look like they have moved the coil over mounting location.
the specs look good bump steer is .08" in 3.5" of travel -2 to +1.5
the other specs look good just don't have them in front of me right now.
we are developing a new set of control arms that will allow 10 to 10.5" rims with a 6 to 6.5 BS and acheive a decent turn radius.
the ride height is quite low the cross member is at 5" and that puts a 18" front wheel about 1" from the fender lip.
it will fit Shock wave 3.0 bags also. this is what Frank is using.
we will have pricing by the 30th and a introductory pre SEMA price.
We got it under the car tonight, fit absolutly PERFECT. in fact, we used the line up holes and then X everything out and it was dead nuts perfect! Great job Blake.
We will mock up everything, weld in the motor mounts (Pontiac motor and they did not have one for mock up, they have Chevy mounts), and take it back apart for painting. By this tim next week we should have some pictures of a pretty frame (subframe that is). I will ask Lisa to get in those pics too, LOL!
