Incredible craftsmanship on this Vette. From what i've seen of the rest of the SMOY contenders, This is an easy winner(IMHO). Awesome work!

I think that half of the car is made out of aluminum at this point. Our guys are a lot better at shapping aluminum than making things out of fiberglass. It is also a much higher quality when it is done.

Complete aluminum dash and center console fabbed for the car.





Machined aluminum knobs for dash to match headlight and gas cap trim ring design.


Completed knobs shown in a scrap peice of sheet metal for mock up.

Knobs recessed into dash with trim bezels.


Center console starting to take shape.




Ribbed "belly pan" under the dash to finish it off.

Fabbed an aluminum slotted screen for the center section of the dash. A speaker will go behind this when completed.
