That is a great post. Very interesting insight. Sorry you couldn't take the car home, though.

Thumbs up

Sorry you weren't able to bring her home. You are very correct that this car was built to be driven and driven hard!!

If you are still looking for a top notch well-engineered car get ahold of Charley about Camaro X; 69 Camaro with an LS7 and 6 speed, all the goodies, and built and engineered by Mark Stielow. I believe it fits your budget of $100K. You can drive this car to the track, beat on it all day, and drive home, it's that good.

I'm also going to be putting my twin turbo LS2 Chevelle for sale in the same price range. Originally built and engineered by Mark Stielow also, it's a more subtle old-school look with big power modern underpinnings. Mini-tubbed, paddle-shifted 4L80E, can drive anywhere.

Your car looks fantastic, Jody. IMO, the new choice of color and rolling stock fit the car much better. Very tastefully done.

Sorry to see you have to sell.

Sorry to Hi-jack the thread.

Dam Jody you beat me to it! I was gathering the necessary threads for him!
I was thinking how the aforementioned cars were great representations of our type of vehicles and in his price range. And also Jody, the car looks great.
There is also a few other cars for sale here that are less pricey(not meaning overpriced by any means), and would be great purchases.

ill be the first to admit both cars look great - and i love the look of the engine bay out of the chevelle - and actually i might borrow an idea out of that engine bay per the permission of jody(as im coming up with the list of ideas and concepts .... i am keeping track via a note pad of whom is giving me the ideas and will make sure they get the credit they deserve)

on the statement of i should be considering both cars .... yes they are worth consideration and i say this out of all due respect to both cars ..... i have a personal childhood history with a 69 trans am and to me that means everything and thats why i am heading in that direction
