That is all a part of "living the dream" of being a hot rod builder! Not exactly the rock star lifestyle that we signed up for!

The car is looking good. You have 42 days before you need to leave for Scottsdale. If you work 24 hours a day that gives you 1,008 hours. Should be just enough time to get the car completed in! Have fun.

We've been making the guys in the shop ride around inside the trailer when we go places... Its almost like NASA conditioning / testing ... We might need the 30 hours during the drive to button up some loose ends.. !!

We have been hammering away on the Boss Snake.. Here are a few updated pics for you all.. The first is a filler panel we made to go between the lower area of the rad support and the lower valance.. Not only does it look cleaner but it strengthens the fiberglass valance if you clip a yellow cone or two with it.. The second pis is a panel we made to cover the rear floor area.. Under the panel is where the air tanks are mounted for the suspension, Third pic is a panel we made on the inside of the engine bay that flows off of the bottom of the radiator, again just to give the engine compartment a cleaner look. Pics four through seven and pic eight is the work we did to the rear bumper.. The gap between the bumper ends and the taillight panels was a bit to much for our liking.. We cut apart the bumper and added to the ends for a tighter fit. We also sucked the bumper in tighter to the body. Lastly is the dash we are making for the car. In this pic it is in the early stages.. It is undergoing changes as we speak...

Not only funny but true! I worked in a trailer a few years back on a SouthWest Tour car between SoCal and the race in Phoenix. I have an issue with motion sickness as is and you never realize how much motion those trailers are constantly in 'til you are puking in a bucket between header bolt installs That rolling motion is worse that sitting in a fishing boat.

We have been pushing VERY hard on the "Boss Snake" Here are a few pics for you. First one is a cover we made over the rad and rad support. Second is the dash we fabricated, third is the headers we had to fab to fit on the very large motor in the very small hole , lastly are the rear interior panels that will get powder coated then wrapped... We will start on the body work today and hope to have it painted with in a week!! Coming down to the wire!! Stay tuned!!
