The exhaust is almost finished all we need to do is cut the end of the tailpipe.

You can see the transition from the round to oval tailpipe. I think Dave did and incredible job joining the two pieces.

If we need, we will now be able to remove the mufflers.

I saved the best for last "the Wheels". The tool that we used for mock up was perfect. It nailed the offset on the front wheels on the first try. I can't wait to do another truck.

Here is what the truck is going to look like when the air suspension is deflated.

There is a minor vlave stem clearence issue which can easily be resolved with a set of low profile valve stems from Weld Wheels.

No clearence issues on the rear wheel.

we decided to go with the sticky outy look on the wheels.

No really once the tires are mounted we will narrow the rear diff.

That's it for this week. I've got a bunch of parts to order and I need to get the wheels back to Billet Specialties so they can weld them up for me.

Need some advise as i am torn between two fuel delv set up's

1. Stealth Tank with one Aeromotive A1000 Pump

or

2. Stealth Tank with dual in tank walboro pumps

The truck is only going to have 600hp on pump gas and 750hp on race gas. I am aware that i am at the limit of both systems at 750hp.

The truck main purpose is to drive the power tour and to local cruise nights.

If given the option, I'm all for an external pump. Keeps from having to tear into the tank if pump problems were to arise.

I would go with the external...however I have heard good things about the internal style staying cooler due to the fuel cooling it!

12-11-05 Update.

Working on a new fuel cell.
Looks like we are going to use the external pumps that I have.
One on each side of the tank meeting in the middle at a "Y" block.

The tank will sit between the new frame rails which is two inches narrower then the old tank ;-(

In order to get a little more fuel capacity the tank is built around a frame support.

Here is what the tank looks like removed from the truck

I want to thank Scott Husner for the Box.
He shipped me the first prototype Sonoma GT cladding in it.

Here is a side view of the bed side glove box.

Here is the prototype GT Cladding the Scott Husner is now Offering - Nice Piece.

The Rear End came apart waiting for the arrival of the new Rear Tires & Wheels.

That's it for this week. I hope to have the wheels by the weekend. If not not a big deal there is still plent that needs to be done.
