This actually brings up a good point. I was thinking about this also when that 208 MPH Cuda lost it's windshield trim on that video clip. Original trim pieces ain't cheap and repairing and re-installing it can be a pain, or even repairing the deep scratches it left on your car as it flew off.

Besides the hold-down clamps or strips of metal or flush-mount glass, are they any other options for keeping the original stainless trim on at high MPH? The clamps/straps take away from the 'street car' look a bit so a more stealthy approach would be preferred. Maybe some extra clips? Adhesive?

Seal the trim to the window to prevent air from getting under it.

That, or jam some of that dum-dum stuff you put around your a/c lines in there. Anything to keep the air out should do the job.
