Default Random Power Tour pics

Nothing too specific, just random stuff from the Tour. Thanks again to Ken and Paulette. Spending time with friends like them is what it's all about.

It was a short tour for me this year, but still covered 1,395 miles. The car averaged 21.5mpg for the overall trip, and I got 25.2mpg on the first leg from my house to Newton.

Iowa Speedway was awesome. I'm definitely going to try to get to a race down there sometime. It was great getting to drive on the track, too. We sandbagged and then let it have it. Best $20 I spent all week.

Just some eye candy...

454 cubic inch LS9. Made 900hp.

Tony's ZO6. LS7 with a Magnacharger... hmmmm...

This conversion was SO damn good that I almost walked right past it.

I'm sorry, but this is just stupid. It was like a train wreck, I HAD to take a pic. lol

Another great conversion.

Action shot. lol

Hotel parking lot.

Can anybody tell me about how long the Tour is at each venue? I am heading out to the event at Hoover tomorrow and I was hoping to find out the best time. It is a shame that they didn't plan to have a stop at the Barbers Motorsports Park. It is just a few miles outside of Birmingham and is a great track.

That pic was taken at 10mm with my Nikon D90 which uses their DX format. I have the color control turned up so the colors are more vibrant. Other than resizing the images, that's how the image comes off the camera.
