If you can get the money for the LS1 go that route.You will be happier in the long run.

If I were to do it right now, I'd do a big inch LSx.

Welcome to the site. Don't let the fuel injection worry you. It is relatively simple, pretty much plug & play once you get a harness for your application and pcm. Go for a big inch LSx like Scott said and you'll be real happy.

Scott, what's the difference in the LSx motor Vs the LS2 or older LS1? Also, where can I find info on it?

Mike LSx refers to all motors based on the gen IV block( LS1,LS2,LS6 and Ls7)
