So the pinions gears are in such demand that trading them for New Ford Gt is a deal for them and obviously for us. We will see how this works out.

Man a Ford GT transaxle, Do I still put it in my 3 window? or something else? HHHMMMMMMM.
if that trade dont work ship it to me and i can use it for a boat anchor

According to the stories I heard, you guys (in Arkansas) use the whole truck and trailer as anchors!!!!!!!

I'd love to see someone build a bas a$$ mid engine 2nd gen Corvair! Hard top or vert, eitherway, it's been done before, but a modern LSX version with a Ferrari transaxle would be a kick butt track car! call it the FerVair, or the Corrari! Slap on a blower, upgrade the suspension and brakes and I'd bet it would run with a Ford GT!

What about a GT-40 replica?

a high-tech modernized GT-40 would be pretty bad.

Hmm..

with that trade in mind...I would keep it Ford.

-58 Edsel vert.
-59 Fairlane (2-Door Sedan)
-60 Sunliner (vert Starliner)
-73/4 Thunderbird

I could think of a few more....

What about a '55 F100 with some work like the '48 pickup you are working on now? (not gonna lie, that truck is hot. I cant wait to see it with some color on it.)

and even though it's the size of a small yacht, and roughly the same weight, a '64 Lincoln Continental would be cool. It is kinda beyond what I would consider using a transaxle for, but it still would be a slick ride.

it would certainly be very similar, but i think a slightly more racey version would be way cooler... and as similar as the ford gt looks, i think the mk2 gt-40 is still better looking

maybe with a set of slightly more modern wheels and whatever motor you want, really.

-also, i think the ferrari transaxle would be a pretty cool twist, just because of the ferrari-gt40 rivalry
