Once it was torn down it was time to make carts for the cab and box to make moving them around and blasting etc a bit easier

I made the carts stackable for blasting & Painting. The box cart will also serve as an engine run stand.

a few key engine components started to show up and a bit of test fitting was done.

Took a Cobra Jet C-6 out of the cobwebs and started a rebuild. Had an "ISSUE" with the trans case because someone put a bottle jack under it to "LIFT" the car. A quick weld job and back at it.








A custom torque converter was also ordered at this time...

A Yukon Gear Posi unit was added to the 9" rear supporting the stock 3:50 gear set

I then dragged the frame outside for a quick sandblast before bringing to the powdercoater along with other misc parts.




A few days later they called to say it was ready! They did a VERY NICE job on the parts. And at a price I could not begin to buy paint and materials for.
