Not to argue -- but that simply isn't true. Throttle response on these and similar systems is the fastest and most responsive of anything you will ever drive. The tuning is a "who's doing it" and was the motor (cam etc) built for EFI drivability etc. Get too wild and anything goes south with "part throttle" -- build it for it's intended use and you have a super fun machine.

I wonder if what he really meant was that part throttle driving can be too much fun...?
