You don't want drop spindles. Just take a coil out of your Hotchkis coils.

Hotchkis leafs are a good choice for the rear.

Then can pose a wheel fitment problem. They limit the about of backspacing that can be used on the front wheels, to much and the wheel could hit the tie rod.

That, and they're just and added expense that's not needed.

Thank you so much for the info. I'm running a 17X8 front rim now. I've always heard if you cut a spring the ride changes dramatically. Will taking out 1 coil make the really stiff?

If that wheel has over 4.5" of backspacing, which it probably does, then you really don't want a drop spindle.

As far as your ride changing, I doubt you'd even notice.

Any recommendation on what shocks to use with the new lowered stance?
