We're going to whack the front out of the car (Kugel IFS) and try to get the whole car to sit WAY lower... which means we might also need to hack the back to get it all just so. Thus they're not welding in the rear just yet! We also discussed getting the caster just right -- and getting it right with the rack with the chassis set up with the ride/rake it will end up with. There's not much point in dialing in 5* of caster and then taking it all away by jacking up the ass end! LOL

Checked out the rear end -- way kool stuff! Gears in the back make the rear a 3:91 or swap them top for bottom and you have a 4:34 --- Get a couple different "sets" (two gears) and make it something else altogether. Guess that's why they call 'em "quick changes". The rear is really made by WINTERS - it's their CHAMPS unit which is heavy duty... but, of course, it's set up with all the Kugel Komponents arms etc.

Does this mean you have to jump your own poo pile?

Pretty much! I seem to be the one that is increasing the "scope" of the project... Typical customer right!

I'm sure you/they are gonna do what it takes to get it "right". Very cool project. I love these little cars! -

I like your thinking Jim!

Sadly John.... this is kind of the way I always end up doing stuff.... When I used to do NCRS Corvettes -- I had one that I full on frame off restored 3 times in 10 years... My Nomad which I bought ALL DONE 12 years ago - now has a new chassis - it's on it's 4th motor... 3rd core support... 4th aluminum radiator... It is a sickness -- and I've got it.

Is this because they have other builds as well Greg? Or, just because that thay are waiting for parts and the build will actually take that long to complete?
Gonna be a mean little hot rod for sure. Keep us posted.
