You've got some cool stuff done Dave. Look forward to more, as I'm sure there will be.

Pretty good progress this weekend after 2 good days in the shop. The motor is pretty much re-assembled. Waiting on a couple accessories that should come in this week to finish it off.

I seem to have found my calling as parts runner and solvent tank specialist.

We discovered what clutch I have. As everyone knows, it's one of those bad ass special custom jobs by "Roy" It actually felt and worked pretty good for the 500 miles I put on it. I thought it required about the same pedal effort as the McLeod RST 800hp clutch I ran in my last Camaro.

Valvetrain before stud girdles installed.

I like the silver finish on this Champ pan much better than the gold of the CV pan I almost put on.

I liked this pic of my 377 with Rich's cross rammed 350 in the background.

We hope to have the drivetrain back in and running by this coming weekend.

Looking good sir. Now would be a good time to add an oil temp gauge to keep tabs on your ROAD RACE project.

Thanks Ron. Unfortunately for you and everyone else, Roy's contact info is not available to the peasants of society. He is that good.

Thanks man. The motor was dyno tune in 2008 and hit 469 rwhp, so that's about 550 crank using 15% drivetrain loss. But, that number was at 6500 rpm where they shut off the dyno. This configuration is made to scream to 7000+ rpm so there's maybe some more power in it than that.
