flowmaster 40 series deltas. regular 40s are too much. the deltas sound really good. i went 50 deltas but may modify them to 40s if they are too quiet.

Go to youtube and listen to as many soundclips as you can. Or listen in person if possible.

I will say I finally heard a setup of Magnaflows that I actually liked. Full 3" exhaust behind a 600hp SBC. Quiet rumble at idle but nasty at WOT.

I prefer in your face loud Spintechs for now.

I had the Flowmaster DeltaFlow 40's on my BBC. It had a great rumble at idle but didn't sound so great at WOT. I swamped out for Magnaflows and like the sound a bit better. A little quieter at idle but then sounds a little 'sportier' at WOT if that makes sense. I'm running a 3" exhaust, X-pipe, and 2.5 tail pipes.

Curious. I've heard a bunch of people talking about "loud Spintechs". I'm running them on my build. A bit over 600hp, 11:1 compression, 3" exhaust all the way from the headers, through the X-Pipe, through the tail pipes. It's even a convertible. It gets maybe a little loud at WOT, but not what I'd consider real loud. Mine are the short ones sold by Ram Air Restorations. They're a 12" case built to Ram Air's specs. They're similar to the Sportsman 3000 I believe.

I really like the sound of the Magnaflow's with 3" pipeson my 69 with the LS7.
Reasonably quiet at idle but sounds great at WOT.
