That's true, and when the car is moving, it looks dead on. However, standing still, I'd like a bit more rim, and less rubber. Don't get me wrong, I love the wheels and how they look, but for me 18" would really nail it. I think it has something to do with the rim design itself. The center plate inside the wheel looks to big, and would not be so dominant on a 18".
I actually baught the wheels before I had even seen the car!

sounds like a kick ass project and with that budget, it should be very do able.........
