Yes, I agree with you that the wheel diameter should be close to the same, but if I run the width of 295 in the back, in your opinion what would be the widest width I should run in the front. Is 275 in the front too close to 295 in the back? Should I go narrower than 275?

The best combination for practicality would be the same size front and rear. This way you could rotate tires front to back.

I wouldn't go narrower than a 275 up front both for looks and mostly for performance reasons.

Take a look at tire width's in 295. I would bet that a 295 is only 1/2" wider than a 275. I dont think that going with a 295 is worth it.
