The murdered look is played out. Look at all the modern cars that people make EVERYTHING black. Personally, it takes no vision or effort and it shows.

Except for Lenie. Car looks sick.

PS: Mario, Carter wasn't the only one in your ear about that. Some cars look great in the right light or in a rendering. etc.

I agree.

Blacked out/painted everything always looks like the easy way out to me. Perhaps it's because I've spent to many hours making window stainless look like it's been chromed.

To make the car "pop", you always need some contrast..whether it be in the engine bay or wheels, or interior, you need some different colors and textures or it all blends into one big blob... the contrast doesnt need to smack you in the face but it needs to be there to some degree....

Subtle things like small pinstripes etc can really make a huge difference...same with the trim. Maybe not bright chrome...maybe a satin brushed aluminum look....

I decided on the chrome/polished look for the trim and bumpers. If I end up not liking them then I will redo them.

Good choice John. Build the car for you. I am doing brushed nickel. Be unique. I think the all black on black on black on black theme is worn out.
