Yup, that one's all John. I just did the follow-up 3D renderings. I think the original renderings came out in CHP or Hot Rod right before I graduated high school. Wasn't in the biz yet.

John does awesome work as well. Perhaps I thought it was Kris because most of the artwork describing the design on your site is a 3D rendering. Though I did also like the thumbnail detail sketch you have on there...that must be John's. That sketch shows what I was thinking about regarding the driving light detail. Don't get me wrong, it's a killer looking car and real head turner.

Kris, what software do you use? It looks like Alias Studio. Are your wheels photoshopped or do you build the database in 3D also? They always look so realistic. I'm a big fan of your unique style.

In short, all of my stuff is 3D modeled. I only use Photoshop for basic touch-up, texture design, and final image export. I'll send you a PM with some more info so we can keep this thread on track.

Tyler,
Ive often thought that a standard grille (with the lights inboard of the headlights) would look a bit better, then the holes in the valance could be used for brake cooling ducts.

Especially if it were on my car.

Hey I just wanna say first that Tyler and ATS are Pro-Touring Pioneers in my opinion. The body kit was the beginning and Tyler had a clear vision from the beginning for what he wanted and where he wanted to go with it. I think the final design of the bodykit that Tyler and I came up with is agressive, clean and doesn't give the 1st gen Camaro an undesirable japanese tuner appearance. I think it actually gives it a functional muscular look that looks killer in person even in the unfinished stages. We worked for a few months on this and we spent a lot of time flushing out ideas, playing with different surfaces and shapes. The rear wing has already been copied by a couple people including a green 69 Camaro in a certain magazine....
Currently progress is being made to finish some of the original 50/50 bodykit parts and hopefully production parts will be available very soon. I'll leave that up to Tyler to talk about when the time is right.
Anyways, here's a few development sketches that some may not have seen. Thought I'd share.

Thanks for posting those up, John. I'm not sure how many people know that you were the designer that took Tyler's ideas and formed them into substance.
