In all seriousness, it was not too bad of a result. And I knew I was on borrowed time for awhile. We hoped the pistons were the only real damage and the heads are being disassembled/inspected now but besides the valves didn't look too bad.

I need to decide whether to sell the parts individually or throw the motor back together and sell as a long block. The new motor will only use some of the accessories of this motor - all key parts/internals will be new/different/slightly used stuff.

And the new motor will be built and tuned on the dyno by a PROFESSIONAL.
So the new engine builder has a Dino as well, we need more clues, lol and I'm sure I could find some use for those internal parts should you decide to sell in pieces.

Dyno and the works. It's a bad ass shop I assure you. I am supposed to go there Tues and I'll shoot some pics and get details.

I am in contract to buy a house so that has the priority at the moment.

What parts are you looking for?

Yeah congrats on the house! Does that mean BMF will be finding a new home too? Are you keeping the heads and valve train for the new motor.
Thanks Shane,

Dave the suspense is killin' the Lat-G faithful. You have a duty...yeah I said it, a duty to take some pics and post some build plans and shop info. Don't make come up there and do some detective work. I've heard Rich can be bought for a few cold ones....

Ha, thanks for caring guys... didn't know my little old non-LSx, non-aluminum block, non-Pro Touring motor build would pique so much interest.

Pettis? Nah, too far. I wanted a guy within an hour drive max.

Tuesday should be my reveal day. God I sound like I'm popular or something. My name ain't Renner.

Tmrw is a big day on the house deal... if this inspection goes well we should be lookin pretty good on closing this one. Pretty excited. About the only thing that could take my mind off the car and motor for awhile (sorry Rich!).
