You could fab something up on the lower a arms to work with the steering arms

That's what I'd look into. Just ad thickness to the factory stops.

I'm running a Lee box, but my wheels are stuffed in the fenders and I'll be going with wide positive offset wheels. I don't think the internal stops are enough. Since I just installed the box today, need to see how much angular displacement the quick ratio box has. Overall the steering is a big improvement with the box and a Sparco wheel. Trying to fit 10.5" wide in the front. Good idea on adding a component to the lower a-arm.

When I did my measurements for my wheels they turned a bit more with the engine on and the power steering hooked up than they did with the setup off.
