Default 70 Camaro build.

Just joined this great site because it's overboard, the way to really build and looked at all 46 pages on your camaro, very nice well thought out build. Liked the second pic of the original engine in car from back in the day. Very cool build. Rick.

2nd Chance Camaro - LS1 is heading to Wegner Automotive

2012 11-19 Update - LS1 is heading to Wegner Automotive
www.2ndchancecamaro.com

Morning All,

It's time to get the motor out of the car and shipped up to Wegner Automotive. I have only heard good things about them. They are a full
service shop and they have some really nice Front Drive Set Ups.

www.wegnerautomotive.com

The goal was to get the motor out of the car and back to my office by the morning so I could ship it out right away.

90 Minutes later the front clip is off and the motor is out.

I went it early to pull all of the Motor parts off the shelf and I realized it looks like I have everything that Edelbrock offers for the LS1.

Yes it's a Carb intake for an LS1 and yes it's made in the USA !!!

LS1 Coil Covers - wait till you see what we have planned for these

Valley Cover

Camshaft -- Kinda looks like Kenny took this picture

Front Cover

The goal is about 450 hp which should be plenty for a street car.

Thank you and I am feeling much better only 7 weeks of Chemo left.

For a trans we are going to use a 700r4

I can't wait to see you version of the bike rack.

There used to be a deck lid luggage rack and that I thought about using but I was unable to find one or even a picture of one.

2nd Chance Camaro - Billet Specialties Mag G's are in the house

2012 11-25 Update - Billet Specialties Mag G's are in the house
www.2ndchancecamaro.com

Morning All,

The Wheels are back from Billet Specialties and they look awesome. I can't wait to get them mounted on the car.

Back tires are mounted and the ride height looks perfect.

Front tire is mounted and it looks like the front end needs to come down just a little. and the front fender needs a little work !!!!

Playing with lug nuts.
Trying to decide which ones I am going to use.

My hatred for TTII style wheels (AR's, Foose, etc) is matched by my enthusiasm for wheels like that with a vintage Trans Am racing look. I can't explain it, but those wheels look great.
Also, I like the first lugs.
