That's total and complete Bullshyt! Who'd you order it from? Does that really make sense? "Oh we don't want the business". Really? Your guy just wanted to sell you something he carries, plain and simple. Please tell us who it is.

Email me, I'll get you one at a competitive price.
Or you can use just about anybodys crank trigger and cam sensor. It'll hook to the existing dual sync harness.

And yes they had troubles before with the reluctor wheels. They have since redesigned the whole distributor since the summer of last year. And they do have a warranty as well, I believe it's 6 months from date of purchase.

He didn't try to sell me anything else though lol. I had already paid for everything weeks ago and he refunded the money and said they discontinued it. If you want to make sure you can get it, let me know if u can and if I decide that's what I want I'll order from you. I'm more interested in using individual coils now though

Pm'd you.

For all, I called my contact at Accel yesterday after I read this post. He confirmed this was bs, and they haven't "decided not to fill existing orders".
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Also Mallory will be introducing the Firestorm box very shortly. It will plug right into the Gen 7 as well as others and give the control of single or individual coils. I won't go into all the features but you can go to their website for further info.

Thanks guys.

Hey t raven,

I am going the same route on my 455. I am going to use a ford can position sensor on a custom sleeve mount. This will require turning down the distributor, but will allow for an ev or halls type sensor.

Check over on performance years. I am prototyping now, but may be a simple solution.

Thanks Mark. Good to know they can still make one but I'm glad he canceled my order for whatever reason. After I'd already paid I started thinking about individual coils. Got some body and suspension work to do first so I'll wait and see what Mallory is coming out with.
