Nice work Chief!
Who makes and sells the panel clamps that you are using? They look fairly sturdy compared the the Eastwood ones.
Thanks ... I went all over the web to find these again and I cannot find the Hot Rod shop that I bought the last set from, I bought a set of 10 for my brother last year. They are awesome if you can find them, Much sturdier then the Chinese made panel clamps
Finally the weather was nice (50's IN JANUARY?) so I took advantage and got out the 80 grit, prep sol and wiped everything down and sprayed some epoxy on the backside of the firewall and the door pillars/ hinge post.
I have been working on the details to get this ready to weld ..... I want it to be perfect before I weld. I have had that cowl off at least 50 times and I think I have it where I can start welding I can't wait til I do the quarters ... that'll take 75 times off and on before I get to weld.
Epoxy on the passenger side, that was the holdup
Went ahead a sprayed all bare metal while I had the weather!
Finally got the parts where I want them ... welding soon
Used my new tool ... HF punch/ flange tool, pretty handy!
So that's all for now ... school started and I have homework to do ... progress will slow with homework
