You can either have a centered pinion or equal length axles, not both. If the pinion (drive shaft) is centered then you will have axles that are about 4 inches different in length (depends on the center traction device).
Either way,
There will not be a problem with either of those setups, typically you will never feel a difference from having centered pinion or equal length axles.
I think what he is saying is that the motor is still offset... But the rear end yoke is now centered relative to the rear frame (since the axle tubes are now equal length rather than offset like the motor)
So you induce a slight driveline angle in the horizontal plane... Not just the vertical plane
A lot of guys have that set up when the swap out rear ends from other cars... From my understanding it usually doesn't cause an issue... I would think its influenced by how much of a difference in offset you have
If his axle tubes are equal length then the housing is centered but the pinion of offset to pass side. If the pinion is centered then the axle tubes would not be equal length. If the axle tubes are equal and pinion is centered the the driver side wheel is touching or outside the quarter!!

Exactly

well my driveshaft is centered and my axle tubes are too, it looks really straight and dead on and it actually tracks the front tires. sorry for the confusion though, i just wanted an opinion on this. I was gonna change some things on it, but if it doesn't present an issue when im going around the track then im fine with that.
Like I said everything looks true and fine, I was just wondering if I would run into any issues because it drove fine when I test drove the car. My driveshaft and pinion angle seem to be good too because there was also no vibration either.
