Got some work done this weekend. Finally picked up my diff. Mocked it all up and sat it on the ground to see how it looks. Didn't bother with the panhard bar or swaybar yet. It's all coming back out anyway.

Picked up my seats. Recaro Sportster CS

Motor is being packed up now with everything.
Payed for it to be run in on the stand @ AES. Not my intake/valve covers/etc.
Big thanks to Mike for everything.

That's one of the back wheels on the front. 275 on a 9.5". Touches the guard. Dunno the backspace but at full lock i only have around 1cm between tyre and swaybar. So iunno.

205 on an 7" vs 275 on a 9.5" lol.

Cut out some more tunnel so it's neater. Will start on this tomorrow.

Rough seat position. Far enough back for dad, can go far enough forward for the missus too.

Did some cutting in the trunk too for the fuel cell.
Was going to weld some 50x50x3 alloy angle to the cell so it can just drop in and run a brace around the outside of my cut. But i'd rather have the cell sit in a cage of sorts... I'd feel safer about going over rough roads and ****.

Aaannndddd that's about where i'm at. Thanks for listening/reading if you've made it this far.

Tomorrow we will begin the transmission tunnel. I was going to have a fab shop build most of it, but where's the fun in that? A good mate of mine is a machine with a MIG and TIG and he's happy to put his name to the work and i want to learn along the way.

So not a whole lot has happened of late. Been really busy with work but I have some time off over the xmas break and I plan to get a fair bit done!

I also got stung pretty hard by an importer who was bringing in parts for me. Had around $4000 worth go missing. Turns out he didn't put the insurance on that I payed for, etc etc etc. In the end I got $2000 out of him when I started using words like lawyer and customs audit. Mike from AES Racing done me a super awesome deal on the parts that were lost and I'm only 'down' around $800. It kind of dampened my mood on the project a bit but i'm in better spirits now!

There's my engine and the cute little air pumps.

There's some chassis work we've done. Trying to tie the TCI PT rear clip to the front one effectively. While also covering up some careless jacking from previous owners. In Australia we can't really cut out chassis and replace like you guys. Sorta...

I'm also looking at wheels at the moment. 18x10 Front & Rear. Around +5 offset on the front and -20ish on the back. Weld RT-S S71 with the black face.

And maybe a set of Cragar D-Window 17x9's for the circuit. Not sure yet. I'd rather wreck a $100 rim than a $600 rim on the track.

I also bought a car. For Dad with his money of course. Something he can cruise around and have fun in when back home from work O/S.

73 Z28 with RS pack. Genuine. Everything matches up. Sorta.... Has an LQ9 + gm hot cam kit, manifold and carb. 475ish hp going by all the hot cam/carb write ups.. Rebuilt by owner/mast motorsports.
