I thought that was odd too, but the Camaro disappeared in late November so it may have been pretty cold and the windows were up. Don't know the details of when the '50 Chevy went missing. All kinds of interesting theories are coming out.
It's also a little disconcerting that if this is the old Chevy they think went missing in 1969, just before the Camaro went missing, they could both be the result of a serial killer.
I don't know exactly where in Lake Foss they were located but there is a highway that runs right along the east side of the lake. Maybe there was road construction that caused these cars to end up in the lake at night?
The Camaro's nose looks like it's in perfect shape, even the grill and badge are there! I would expect some deformation from a water impact at highway speeds so that doesn't look like a possibility.
Just sad and bizarre ends to these folks lives...

The lake is pretty good sized and to drag them both up next to each other, They must have been close to each other in the water. I cannot imagine they would drag them across the lake with minimal effort to put them next to each other. But once the cars hit the water why did not any of the 5 people inside try to roll down a window just a little or all the way to swim out of the car car and too the surface.

Sure seems like foul play.
