Don't know if I'm stupid, or just can't pass up a good deal. A buddy called with a line on some LS3's that were built by Katech for the American LeMans Prototype Challenge series.

They are basically blueprinted 6.2 LS3's, with forged Mahle pistons, and ARP hardware. They had really cool dry sumps on them, but they kept them, along with the cams, and front timing covers. They have about 3K miles on them, and look like new inside. I bought 2 of them, I paid $2500 .
They probably won't give me enough HP's but, I figure I can work the bugs out of the car with one of them until I get board, and need to step it up.
