Thanks for taking a look, I thought that at first also but it is the tie rod for sure, I already mounted the drag link successfully.

Thanks Scott, defanitley something off, looks like my weekend plans of wraping this front end up have changed to doing leaves instead

pull it back out and see if the tapered hole isn't reduced by powder coat, burrs or just plain out of spec.
