Nice work on the quarters John
I agree with Marty, I like the wheels and the red will be awesome.

Fighting all the little stuff, like lines etc.

At the point now where I can start painting door jambs and the like.

The funny thing, I could mix up something custom, but based on the use this car will see, I want to be able to do touch ups and repairs.

Closest red I could find is an Aston Martin color, 2015 Volcano Red.

Putting this paint code out there to remember it. AST5151D

What really sucks is when your car's in Paint Prison and you're the Warden/Jailer.

We spent a lot of time priming, sanding and priming...

Everything is ready for paint and it's time to pull this out of the messy area of my shop.

(I have a much cleaner area and a down draft, heated (for baking) paint booth).

Should be painting the interior semi gloss black in the next two days, along with the fiber glass kick panels and rear deck lid.

I mixed up the red today, not sure I like it yet.

My rollers in the rear are from a GranSport Corvette (old take offs.) I think they fit pretty nicely at ride height and have 2.75" of up travel, with the shock set for 2.7" of up. Not that shabby.

BTW, can anyone tell what size billet door jamb vents I need? I also wonder if I can get billet trunk hinges.
