Don't know how I missed this before. Nice job, love the little "unseen" details in the tranny tunnel. Plus, I'm a little partial to 2nd gens....

Thanks. You and Steve both convinced me to flare the rear. Both of your cars look great. Looks like I will need to push the rear fenders out 1 5/8" each.

Worked on the cowl this weekend, the plan is to seal it off 100%. Though I did prep the underside so it is sealed and could get wet if the access panel leaks. I will also drain the pockets below the wipers that I have created. Pics on that later. For sure I have a few hours with the grinder on my plate tomorrow!!

Brakes arrived. A little shipping snafu with the rotors....but Bear and Matt's Classic Bowties are both top shelf. Slotted only rotors on their way.

Welds cleaned up on the cowl. I will put a gasket under the access panel with the goal of completely eliminating the chance for any water or debris to get into the area below the cowl and down into the door sills. I sealed the metal with rust restore and then painted it....just in case water ever gets past the access panel or the wipers. I realize I've created a pool for water where the wipers bolt to the cowl, I might create drains here with some metal and rubber tubes to direct the water out. A decision for later.
