I had a 20x10 on my 72 without any issues and didn't have to roll the fenders. But, couldn't even tell you for a 66 though. IIRC, I ran a 275 tire too.

What about running a relocation and coilover kit like this

It's cheap and could possibly do the trick?

On my '67, I picked up some minitubs from ABC performance:

335/40ZR18 sounds really good.

Am still working on getting them installed.
