Thanks man. The next project will be a 64 Galaxie tear drop hood. I think it would be pretty killer in carbon fiber.

That would be badass! I'd be in the market for sure. I'm not super happy with my fiberglass one.

Did you have a Crites fiberglass hood? I have a trunk from them. I am pretty happy with the quality and fit but it could be significantly lighter.

Yeah, it's a Crites. The actual panel itself looks great on the car, and the gaps everywhere line up very well, but I was disappointed with the work I had to do to the factory hinges to get the hood to fit properly. I will say, it's the first fiberglass piece that I've ever used on a car, so maybe my expectations should've been different.
