I know its a little late but Gforce has a listing of all the critical dimensions of various transmission measurements. Hopefully you won't need them now.

Nice shop to work on your car and bikes! Your detailing is no OCD just a high standard you go by. I guess sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't, wait that's Almond Joy not Mounds.

Thank you for the link as I really could of used it instead of taking everyone's word.

On a side note I am kinda "Mounds" guy as I love dark chocolate. Of course as you can see I am a little bit nutty.

Laying out the Holley Terminator X Engine Harness. (01-26-20)

I was a little board and didn't really feel like working on the car and I really wanted to ride but the weather sucked and the trails were closed. SO I put the bike rack back on the car.

Since my drivers door hinges is a little worn I figured this would be the best time to replace the hinges. So I put a small order together.

After looking at this picture it looks like I might have a problem.

I love these velcro strips as it makes storing stuff neatly very easy.

I finally found the correct Temp Coolant Switch that plugs into the Holley EFI (01-29-20)

Not sure why I did this but many years ago someone taught me how to make hose clamps round again. It's pretty simple just tighten them around a socket and come back in about 5 minutes and they are round again.

Yep, More blue tape and this one has a reminder on it.

Is this a street car only? I ask because I know its really easy to boil power steering fluid during track days or autocross. A cooler would be a good idea in any case. I like the machine bushing idea for washers, I'm going to have to remember that.

Strictly a street car as I don't feel it has enough safety features in it that would save my life if I crashed. So this
one will do the Power Tour and see a bunch of mountain bike trails.

I also have the Cayman R and the 2010 Camaro if I want to hit the track or autocross. Something about having
airbags, ABS and updated safety features that at this point in my life seem really important.

Coil Brackets (02-02-20)

So at this point I am assuming at this point that my coil brackets are upside down so I am going to flip them to see if the coils come down just a little bit to take the tension off the plug wires. If not I am going to have to remake the wire as I don't like how tight they are.

and yes that is a mountain bike tool being used on my car. Which got me thinking....

At some point the Custom Works Carbon Valve covers we be heading over to Gonzo Details for paint correction and a paint sealer.

Flipped

Well that didn't work out so it looks like we will be making new wires.
