I 2nd spacing the seal. I rebuild driveline for a living, this has been a problem for some time. I machined a spacer for my car years ago. Customers, I use C4 C6 square cut servo seal to space the away for the bearing.

With the Ratech Pinion Seals 6109 you don't need a spacer
