your fan comes on after the thermostat opens, and should be controlled by the return water temperature, so ideally the switch should be located in the radiator before the return hose .. and im willing to bet money that your radiator has provisions to screw it in the bottom tank. and if it doesnt, bring it to a radiatorshop and they can braze/weld one in cheaply

Yep, should be a plug in each head. I put mine in the passenger side head, because I have all of my wiring and relays on that side.

I'm going to put mine in the drivers side head because of my dipstick on the passenger side
