Great build. You're not wasting any time.

I don't know what you were planning for a driveshaft, but give Frank a call at The Driveshaft Shop

He has adapters that will convert the 3-prong 5th Gen Camaro pinion yoke and convert it over to a 108mm CV joint.

He also just came out with some CV joint slip yokes for various transmissions. Here is one that I got for my f-body T56:

They can also build you a double CV driveshaft (in either carbon or aluminum) which will completely eliminate all concerns regarding driveline angles. I've been running a single CV shaft in my GTO for a few years now and plan on doing a double CV shaft in my 1967 Cougar build.

Frank can also set you up with drive axles for the rear end.

Thanks, but I will cut down a 5th Gen Camaro drive-shaft. You know with IRS, it doesn't really move that much, right?

Scott got busy on the firewall shave, with the wiper motor relocation. I think it will look very nice with a new Baer Master Cyl on that booster.

LOL, I get to pay Scott to sit down and watch a DVD.

Of course, it's for the DSE mini tubs. They go in today.

Are you going body color on the engine bay or are you going to use another color?

Firewall will be body color. Inner fenders will be carbon fiber. Radiator support will be matte black, with a lot of aluminum. I have aluminum block off panels, too. They will be body color.

Scott's back at it, after a sandblasted turkey induced coma.

DSE mini tubs are in.

I *should* be able to fit a GTO rear seat and 2 smaller kids back there...

Ride Tech says the Tiger Cage will work with the tubs. If not, Scott says he can make em fit.

Cool

Mini tubs are the way to go

Are the floors in good shape, they look solid. Just need the quarters replaced? How are the wheelhouses?

Moving along nicely ... waiting on the IRS install pixs!

Floors are solid and from what I can tell, original to the car. It's amazing for a New England car. Quarters could be patched, but it's better (IMHO) to go with new complete ones. Trunk drop offs and the rear tail light valence are junk. Scott says everything else is good to go.
