Default Hello from Jersey!

Hey guys! New member here from Jersey! Looking forward to gaining some of the Professional insight from the membership here.

I have quite a few projects underway. I am always working on one of them. Being patient is paramount during one of these projects.

I have a 2004 Ram SRT-10 Viper Truck. The engine chucked the #3 rod and took #4 along with it, windowed the block @ #3, and wiped out the oil galley under the camshaft tunnel. Block is NO GOOD. I am currently swapping in a built Common Rail Cummins engine. Yes a diesel powerplant.

I was able to score a Viper V-10 block that was pulled off the assembly line for a racer and he sold a bunch of parts to someone I know. So the Viper engine is destined for my 1966 Dodge Charger. I am swapping the engine and 6 speed into the Charger and have been cleaning up the body, deleting trim, smoothing body lines ect.

Stock trim...

REMOVED....

All trim holes were welded up and smoothed. The flange where the quarter panel is attatched, which is the mounting for the quarter trim, was cut off and the seam welded up and leaded over for a smooth look.

I next want to modify the bumpers to pull them in closer to the body.
