Anyone ever have a detached Retnia???

So i went to the retnia Dr yesterday and I have a tear in my left eye's retnia and now its detatched. Going in for surgery this afternoon

For those of you that do not know much about diabetes, your eyes are one of the areas that it will attack and onces it does look out!!

So for the next two weeks I have to sit and lay with my head facing the floor oh and i have to sleep that way as well.

45 years and this will be my first surgery not a bad run I guess
