Is the trunk lid custom made like the hood or an aftermarket piece? I've seen the aftermarket ones and have thought about using one for my build eventually. Just not sure of the quality etc.

Thanks.

I purchased the hood and trunk lid from glasstek. The rear spoiler was made by someone else. I used glasstek because most of the people on a website called yellowbullet liked the products. Yellowbullet is huge with the drag racing crowd so there is a lot of input on fiberglass products. I also wanted a 4" give or take a 1/2" cowl hood as a base. So far I haven't heard any complaints from Vic (doing the custom work) about the quality. The trunk lid is a bolt on and seemed to go on with no issues.
This is what the hood looked like when I got it, but the pic was taken off the glasstek website.

Just finished installing a new shifter a few days ago. I really needed to have a ratchet shifter to make the car work the way I want. The old (but still new) TCI is more of a gated type. Too easy to skip a gear on a downshift. The shift lever on the transmission had to be custom made to clear everything but it works perfectly.

So back she goes in the trailer...

The winch is the second best thing next to the trailer itself. I can load it on my own in a few min.

I have packed up my bucket of new Spek Pro gauges (like the ones they use in NASCAR).

Plus a whole box of misc. goodies.

Hopefully in a few weeks it goes back in the trailer under its own power.
Or it blew up.

Killer stuff. Love the Spek gauges in black.
