Made my own accessory belt route. Main reason for doing this was so that I could lower the alternator for more hood clearance using what I already had (Gen III truck accessory setup).
Started with some simply measurements of main pulley locations and distances, and moved things around on the computer..
You can see how much clearancing I needed to do to the stock cast alternator/PS pump bracket to lower the alternator..
Backing plate which a new idler location threads into..
Re-used the stock idler puller, but different location. Saved the old idler location for a much smaller pulley with high-speed needle bearings, to clear the throttlebody and intake cold side tubing as well as the inlet for the LS3 waterpump..
Voila.. a more compact, minimal-dollar accessory drive setup..
