if i recall you said you really had no intensions of racing the car anyways in which why bother spend the extra money (unless its dispensible for you) on a more expensive SF. right?
i personally felt that the stock was more than capable for your need but you sold it already lol

AJ, the frame does have the G-Mod option built into it...but I will be using the stock UCA location with the tall AFX spindle. It weighs less than a stock frame, and allows for a wider wheel/tire package...and uses a Unisteer Rack. Hopefuly Blake chimes in with more info.

This setup will work great for my needs and probably for many others here as well.

I heard the same crap and I didn't listen Have the DSE frame in my car and it is the best thing since sliced bread. I have seen the speedtech and it's a quality piece that fits a market that is needed. I like the look of it compared to other fabricated frames plus you can use your trick control arms you already own. I think the stock sub is ugly, but that's me.

LOL! Pretty funny stuff! I am so happy we have multiple products!

As for the quality of the Speedtech Subframe, We have it in EmptyNest and I am very impressed with it. I had my choice of subframes, I wanted to try the Speedtech in one of our own cars and I am happy I did. As for performance, It has done pretty damn good.

Here is a little video of the first and only pass I made at Run Through The Hills. Now keep in mind I had not walked the coarse (I got there real late, Hungover, Bill was pissed!). So being my first lap (only lap) I am being fairly conservitive, and still ran a 38.3, which was better then most first runs (minus pros). Listen to it, You don't even here tire scuffing except when I overdrive it into the corners on the second lap. She is a bit soft of the shock settings. No tuning, Nothing, just as I drove it in off the street. Long story short I am not even close to the edge yet.The score boards are posted at Pro Touring. Almost every combination was there. Other then the Pros I was right there with all the other cars that had 3 and 4 shots at the track. And Frank is no autocross driver!

Now back to Tony's thread.

Are those PMs from key board heros that have no real experiences? Consider the source. Are those PMs from manufacturers of competing products? Consider the source! Are those PMs coming from un happy Speedtech subframe customers (not likely)? Consider the source!

This may be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. What is the difference between stock, Speedtech, and the high end subframes? If the geometry on the speedtech subframe is the same as stock, then what would be the benefit of using it

I agree Jay.
Now for someone like me, that is just going to go to car shows and maybe the occasional cruise, this sub frame would be great!!!
If they were an inferior product, I'm sure we would heard about it by now. (And I haven't heard any complaints.)
