Default A little update on Roger Poirier......

For those that know Roger or who met him at Pigeon Forge last year, here is a little update. As some of you may or may not know, Roger has been battling a few health demons throughout the years. Lately he just discovered that he has heart disease as well as an arythmia problem. He went in to have a procedure done earlier this year but it didn't take so he has to go back in on March 17th to have it redone. I was with Roger the whole time at Pigeon Forge as we drove down together and he was a real trooper in the face of all his health limitations. A lot of times he would have to sit on the ground if we were standing around talking because his back couldn't take it. I dropped him a line yesterday and he's still down and out but trying to keep his spirits up. I guess the arythmia problem is really kicking his ass and he told me last Sunday he actually passed out. Just wanted to give everyone an update on his situation as he has not been able to get online for some time now. He's a real good guy and I wish him well on the 17th.

Sorry to hear about all the problems he us having. I knew he was having some issues just didn't know the extent of them. I met him @ Woodward a couple years ago - real good guy with a kick ass GTO.

Roger - if you're reading this - thoughts are with you especially on the 17th. Hope you get better

Thanks for the update Tony!!
