Default Tuned and dyno'd, the results are...

SAE: 498rwhp and 470rwtq
STD: 509rwhp and 480rwtq

I took the day off and took the car to HiTechMotorsport and had it tuned on a chassis dyno. The baseline pull with the stock LS7 tune put down SAE 468rwhp and 436rwtq. After some tuning, it made SAE 498rwhp and 470rwtq... and that's with no cool down. Casey and I took it out for a drive after the tune and it's amazing. It pulls hard from the bottom and never stops pulling (until I hit the 7100 rev limiter). Not bad for a baby cam: 220 / 244 @ .050, .615 / .648 lift, 110 LSA.

I'm extremely impressed with HiTech Motorsport. It was obvious by the facility that they take a lot of pride in workmanship. They gave me the full tour and they have some really cool projects going on.

I'm stoked, my goal was 500rwhp.

Video of one of the dyno runs

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with it, it's an amazing motor.

James, your Katech motor should make some serious rwhp!

have them do a printout converted to std instead of sae; you'll be over 500 rwhp, and many guys use the std numbers.

Great job, gotta be a blast!!!!!!!!!!!
