Default Feedback on new hood from Ring Brothers

Ring Brothers asked for feedback on possibly offering Razor's hood as a production part. It would be a traditional styled cowl induction shaped hood with the added heat extractors. It would be a true bolt on 'glass hood and would be two piece design, meaning that the top shell and bottom shell would be bonded together for best finish top and bottom.

Personally, I think that it's really cool and would be really slick on a turbo'd car. Do you think there would be a market for it? I believe final price would retail somewhere less than $1k.

Here are a few pics to show the heat extractors.

I don't have a Camaro, so I'm not sure how much my opinion matters. I really like the hood! I think it would sell. I'm not sure how much volume they need to justify it though.

They gonna offer the cowl panel as well? I don't believe the back of the hood had the overhang like the traditional style cowl hood and I wonder how that would look? I'm calling the boys tomorrow. It's badass looking

The cowl overhang would be shaped like a traditional cowl hood.

Seeing a Kinsler intake under that hood would be bad ass.

As much as I love Mike and Jim's work and parts, and believe me I do, using fiberglass instead of carbon fiber would diminish the hood I think. You can go to Anvil and get a true carbon fiber piece for $1500. If they were to offer it in carbon I think you would have to be the same or close to Anvil, no? I'm also glad they changed the design, not like other hacks who steal original designs and sell them for a few bucks less.

I love the design, but my concern is that unneccessary amounts of rain would easily get into the engine compartment if the car is driven regularly.
